Fraser Heights Chess Club - Programs

Chess and Math

The Chess and Math sessions are planned to improve the mathematical critical thinking, by solving complex problems. Outcomes are spanning from basics of Arithmetic to high school calculus, including Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry.
This is an intensive learning experience, usually covering a narrow topic, layered by complexity so that is appealing for different group ages. All classes include at least 20 min of practical geometry where the students get the chance to use the geometrical tools to draw geometrical elements.
